Anne-Marie joined EIS in January 2000 and is a partner in the practice. She specialises in advising clients on financial planning strategies and investments with an ethical overlay. With many years experience providing ethical investment advice, Anne-Marie is regularly invited to conduct seminars on the benefits of ethical investment and has participated in numerous television and radio interviews. Anne-Marie is also the author of The Ethical Investor, a handbook for ethical investors published by the Penguin Group in 2007.
Anne-Marie completed a Bachelor of Business in Financial Planning at RMIT University where she received the Faculty Award for Top Graduate in Financial Planning; The Australian Taxpayers Association Prize in Superannuation and the Departmental Co-op Award for Best Business Project.
Having travelled the developing world in her twenties and thirties, including two years working as an English teacher in Mozambique, Anne-Marie believes the expansion of ethical investment will have a positive impact on the way companies choose to do business, particularly in regards to addressing global poverty and the environmental impacts of their activities.
